The University's seal of approval to the mayor: "A record number of enrollments."

The Rector of the Polytechnic University of Marche , Gian Luca Gregori, presented the University seal to the Mayor of Ancona, Daniele Silvetti, at the town hall. Along with the award, a special limited edition, the Rector also presented the mayor with a certificate "as a sign of esteem and gratitude for his significant contribution to the development of the university system."

The University's development is evident in its new record number of enrollments (over 5,500) and the increase in international students , who represent over 12% of the total, a significant increase compared to the previous year, when the figure was just 1%. Of the approximately 17,000 students enrolled at the University, nearly 2,000 are international students.

These results are also due to a program of study that is in constant dialogue with the local community and businesses, so much so that the University confirms that its graduates' employment status is significantly higher than the national average. The Polytechnic University of Marche, ranked second in the Censis rankings among state universities with up to 20,000 students, maintains a close connection with the city of Ancona, as demonstrated by its strong commitment to restoring the Rector's Palace to the entire academic and civic community, a renovated space that strengthens a shared identity.

In addition to teaching and research, Univpm plays a leading role in the lives of its students, and in this, collaboration with the Municipality of Ancona is fundamental: this is demonstrated by events such as the Erasmus Generation Meeting, which brought together hundreds of European students, and the National University Championships, which enlivened the city in the name of sport, participation and academic spirit with more than 4 thousand participants.
